Lois Eakin is an oil painting artist who was born and brought up in Chicago. She learned fine arts from the Chicago School of Art. She loves to paint still life including vases, apples and flowers. Apart from still life oil paintings, she does figurative, interior, animals and cityscape paintings in oil.

She was inspired by 20th century artists who focused on realism as well as the Dutch masters of that era. The artist technique can be much appreciated here. She uses Chiaroscuro technique where she creates a unique viewing experience with light. Her style of painting uses values and shades in a clever manner. Lois received several awards and conducted many workshops in her place.
