Jeanne Leemon is a self-taught artist who loves to paint in both oil and pastel. Her still life paintings and landscapes are quite beautiful. Her use of unique textures and vibrant colors make her works appealing. She uses classical oil painting techniques where several layers of paint is applied to craft a painting. She tries to find beauty and peace in everything she paints.

She was born in Chicago and lives in Tennessee since 1993. The beautiful landscapes and riversides of Tennessee inspired most of her paintings. Jeanne often tries to explore the inner beauty of simple things around her and outlines the soul of an object through perfect color and light.
